Water Allocation Plans
Each year the Murray- Murrumbidgee region published an annual Water Allocation Plan for each valley. The AAPs outlines how the rules established in the Water Sharing Plan governing the relevant water source will be implemented from 1 July 2005 to 30 June 2006 . It details how water will be shared between consumptive users and the environment and how available water for licensed water users will be determined and announced during the irrigation season. The plan also identifies water management issues, which may influence the available water for consumptive use during the irrigation season and the options available for water trade.
